The American Heart Association BLS Provider course trains professionals with clinical responsibilities to provide lifesaving interventions to victims of cardiac and respiratory arrest. This course covers CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for adults, children, and infants. This certification is required for most healthcare providers that work in patient care areas and for students enrolled in medical and nursing programs.
The Basic Life Support (CPR/AED) Provider Course is designed to train healthcare professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for healthcare professionals and healthcare students with clinical responsibilities.
BLS Providers meets the current ECC 2015 and the current American Heart Association standards for Healthcare Provider CPR and AED. It covers CPR and AED for Adults, Children, and Infants.
Textbook will be provided.
